Upon renting or lending with us you agree with the terms and conditions outlined below.
Terms and Conditions
BOOKINGS
Bookings made through our website, in-store or through DM must be fully paid before the hire. Our outfits and accessories are available on a 4, 8, 15 and 30 day hire periods. We hold the right to cancel your order under any circumstances usually due to garment unavailability and a swap or refund will be discussed.
POSTAGE
Online orders will be posted no later than 2 days prior to your event depending on your location via our lenders. We only offer express postage through Australia Post which is a 1– 3 day shipping time frame at a flat rate of $24.99 AUD. Online Bookings require a recommended minimum of one week in advanced, Otherwise we cannot guarantee shipping. A return Satchel is provided and shipped with your booking.
STORE PICK UPS
Store Pickups can be organised through your lender. However not all lenders will offer this service.
STORE DROP OFFS
Drop offs can be organised through your lender. However not all lenders will offer this service.
TRY ONS
Try-ons can be organised through your lender. However not all lenders will offer this service.
RETURNS VIA POST
Returns must be made the last day of your hire. You are provided with a prepaid satchel and must be lodged at an Australia Post outlet. Any later can potentially affect other clients and will occur a late fee if not received within a week of your return date.
GARMENT CONDITIONS
Our outfits are subject to general wear and tear due to the nature of hire and won’t affect normal wear or look of the outfit. If noticeable wear is found and is unwearable upon receiving your outfit please let us know within 5 hours of receiving it. Refunds will not be given for general wear and tear including minor tears, pulls and small stains.
SIZING
Size charts are available on the dress brands website. Please ensure you order your correct size as there will be no refunds if sizing is incorrect.
DAMAGE OF GARMENT DURING YOUR HIRE
Wear and tear is expected but please be mindful that this is a hire outfit. Major damage includes large tears, pulls, stains and broken zippers. We reserve the right to charge damage fees.
CLEANING
Cleaning is provided by the lender. Please do not wash/dry clean or attempt to fix damages to your dress.
REFUNDS
In the case of a refund, you will not be refunded shipping and delivery costs if the dress has already been posted. Refunds are strictly a 1-10 day processing time and will be refunded via the same payment method used from purchase, there will be no refunding by other means. There will be no refunds due to incorrect sizing.
BECOMING A LENDER
To become a lender with us you must create an account. If you are under the age 18 you must provide a Parent/Guardian form of identity. It is free to join.
LENDER PAYMENTS
Lenders will receive their earnings no later than 14 days after the rental date return via your chosen payment method.
ADMIN/LENDER COMMISIONS
Every order made through the Momentary Wardrobe lender program will take a 12.5% fee. This also covers any fees from payment processing.
LENDER SHIPPING
Flat rate shipping is applied at checkout at $24.99 AUD. Lenders MUST provide 2x Australia Post Shipping Satchels and ship out no later than 2 days of rental period.
LENDER CLEANING
Lenders are responsible for all cleaning and fixing prior to all rental orders.
LENDER ORDERS
Lenders must accept or decline orders within 48 hours otherwise a full refund to the customer is automatically applied.
LENDER PRODUCT LISTINGS
Product listings made via our Lender portal can take up to 24hrs to be approved. Please contact us to receive a bulk product upload by us at $0.50 per product listing.
LATE ARRIVALS, DAMAGED GARMET OR NON-RETURN.
As MOMENTARY WARDROBE acts as a Multi Lender Marketplace we are not responsible for handling later arrivals, damaged garments or non-returns. Please email us if you need us to contact the renter so we can help resolve any issues.
MOMENTARY WARDROBE holds the right to send a physical and digital Letter of Demand to client/s who have not returned or damaged an item to a non wearable state.
MOMENTARY WARDROBE holds the right to have your Full name, Address, Email and Phone Number and incident details in a blacklist database.
